Sweepstakes Scholarship Deadline Change
The deadline for Sweepstakes scholarship applications has
changed to July 1. Get your application today here.
After all, the Sweepstakes program will award up to $100,000 in scholarships
this year alone! Not sure if you can apply? If you’re a youth member of AHA
who’s competed on a Sweepstakes-nominated horse at the Regional or National
level, and you are a graduating member of the Class of 2004, you may be eligible!
Leading the Herd

We’re looking for future AHYA Officers- and all youth members of AHA at least
14 years old with at least one year of AHA membership are welcome to apply.
New AHYA Officers will be elected at the 2004 AHYA Convention General Session
July 24th in Albuquerque. Get an Officer Nomination form here!
RYTT Rule Change & Deadline
At the last AHA Board of Directors meeting, the Board approved a
RYTT rule change, effective immediately, which eliminates Article
2609.3. This article stated: “Each team member may ride only one
horse in the tournament except for equitation/showmanship.” This rule’s
elimination allows participants to use more than one horse. Please
remember that with the exception of equitation/showmanship, participants
still must own or lease the horse(s) used. See Article 2609.2 for

RYTT REMINDERS:
*The entry deadline is May 1st!!!!!
*Teams must be registered with AHA prior to counting any points
from shows or rides.
*Check your 2004 AHA Handbook for other important rule changes effective
this year-including participation on multiple teams again!
*Send completed entry forms to your
RYTT Secretary- contact info on ArabianHorses.org. To grab a form, click here.
Make AHYA Your Home Page!!!
Here’s how: (for Internet Explorer users)
1. Surf to the
AHYA web site;
2. Then, on the menu bar go to ‘Tools’ and ;
3. Click on ‘Internet Options’;
4. In the section that says ‘Home page’;
5. Press the ‘Use Current’ button;
6. Then, press the ‘OK’ button at the bottom of the dialogue
box;
7. Then, on the Internet Explorer button bar press the ‘Home’
button and the page should be refreshed.
